Established in 2006, AIM Fire Systems & Engineering Pte Ltd began as an Addition & Alteration (A&A) contractor specialising in fire protection systems. Over the years, we have grown into a full-service fire protection company — designing, installing, upgrading, repairing, and maintaining the complete range of life-safety systems that Singapore's buildings depend on.

From a single sprinkler job to campus-wide fire alarm networks serving institutions like NTU and NUS, our work spans across commercial towers, shopping malls, hospitals, data centres, government buildings, and industrial facilities island-wide.

What sets us apart is the depth of experience our team brings. Our managers, engineers, and technicians carry 3–30 years of hands-on expertise — many of them specialists in Simplex and Bosch fire alarm systems who have been with us since the company's early years.

We are BCA-registered (ME06 L3 · ME04 L1), SCDF-licensed, bizSAFE STAR accredited, and certified under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. We also hold SCDF registration (IFX/2018/02) for the servicing and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers.

Dry & Wet Riser Systems

Riser systems are the backbone of firefighter operations in multi-storey buildings, delivering high-volume water supply directly to each floor. AIM handles full design, installation, and testing of both dry and wet riser systems to SS CP 29 — from the incoming main valve and riser pipework through to each landing valve outlet, landing valve cabinet, and breeching inlet. All works are coordinated with SCDF plan-checking and witnessed commissioning.

Fire extinguishers are the first line of defence in any fire emergency. AIM supplies and services a full range of SCDF-approved portable fire extinguishers for all occupancy types — from offices and retail outlets to factories, warehouses, and marine facilities. All units comply with Singapore Standard SS 578 (Code of Practice for Use & Maintenance of Portable Fire Extinguishers) and SS EN 3. Do you handle SCDF submissions and all regulatory approvals?

Yes — we manage the full submission process including PE-endorsed fire safety drawings, hydraulic calculations, and all FSSD documentation. We liaise directly with SCDF and BCA on your behalf, attend all plan-checking meetings, and manage inspection appointments through to sign-off.

How long does a typical fire system installation take?

It depends on project scope and approval timeline. A standard commercial office fit-out typically takes 6–12 weeks from approved drawings to T&C sign-off. We provide a detailed project schedule upfront and coordinate tightly with your main contractor to protect the programme.

What is included in your maintenance contract?

Our standard contract covers scheduled semi-annual and annual inspections, SCDF-format inspection reports and compliance certificates, 24/7 emergency breakdown callouts, minor parts replacement, and a pre-inspection audit before your annual SCDF inspection to identify and rectify any defects in advance.

Can you take over maintenance of systems installed by another contractor?

Yes. We conduct a full system condition audit before taking over any existing installation, documenting current system status and outstanding defects. We then provide a clear rectification plan with costs before commencing regular maintenance.

Which Singapore Standards do your systems comply with?

All systems are designed to current Singapore Standards: SS 645 (fire alarm), SS CP 52 (sprinklers), and SS 648 (suppression), as well as FSSD circulars and BCA guidelines. Where required by international tenants or insurers, we also design to NFPA 13, NFPA 2001, and FM Global standards.

Do you serve HDB commercial premises and residential developments?

Yes. We serve all property types island-wide including HDB commercial premises, private residential developments, condominiums with common area fire systems, Grade-A commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and government institutions.
